In the quiet of an old barn in Fiskars, a space opens where art and craftsmanship meet.

Minja Kolehmainen’s art exhibition, carving studio, and shop where you can linger, slow down, and carve wood.

The exhibition is free of charge.

INSPIRING WOOD CARVING WORKSHOPS

Guided by artist and cabinetmaker Minja K, you step away for a moment from everyday routines and the weight of expectations.
This one- or two-hour inspiring carving workshop is a creative and uplifting experience.

There is no striving for perfection here, no need to achieve or perform. 

No previous experience is needed. Curiosity and a willingness to surrender to the moment are enough.

Group sizes: 2-6 people at the time, prices starting from 80€ per person.

80-90 % of the material I use is rescued from surplus materials of furnitures industries. Materials that would have otherwise have been left unused or burned.
